According to sources, he ingested counterfeit percocet laced with Fentanyl although an official toxicology report has not yet been released.

In the 911 call released by TMZ, the woman says Quan had been laying down for quite some time, and that she could not locate a pulse. As the call continued and the situation seemed more dire, her tone goes from concerned to completely distraught.

Listen to the audio below.

Quan’s death comes less than a month after Justin “Beatking” Riley passed away in his hometown of Houston, Texas. Riley had been hospitalized and rumors of his passing began circulating online on August 15th.

Through confirmation with a member of his team, it was later revealed to 97.9 The Box that his death was related to health complications, specifically a pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood clot that blocks and stops blood flow to an artery in the lung.

Two weeks later, on August 30, rap icon Fatman Scoop was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during a performance. The incident occurred at The Green and Gold Party summer concert at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. According to reports, CPR was administered on-site during the medical emergency before he was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Our thoughts and prayers are with these fallen artists, their family, peers and close circle during this difficult time.
