HOUSTON — The Houston Zoo and ExxonMobil are partnering to offer free tickets to the zoo the first Tuesday of every month.

To get tickets to one of these “Free Zoo Days,” you have to go online to reserve them, as tickets will not be available at the gate. Due to the Labor Day holiday, September’s free zoo day was pushed to Sept. 10. Tickets are currently available for reservation, as of Friday afternoon, however, the zoo warns that tickets sellout fast. Tickets for October are sold out.

Demand tends to be high for Free Zoo Days, so plan ahead if you wish to make a trip out to the Houston Zoo! The zoo is open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., with last entry at 4 p.m.

Free tickets to the zoo can be found here.
