97.9 The Box teamed up with Shabana Motors to kick off 2025 in a major way, offering loyal station listeners their chance to win their share of $10,000 just for doing what they already do each and every single day: Starting their AMs with Good Morning H-Town and tapping back in with us on the ride home with A G & A Pimp.

We figured, that type of consistency deserves a special treat so we wanted to ride for y’all like you ride for us.

You see, each weekday morning and afternoon, we gave out a special keyword. If you texted that keyword back to us, you were in the running to win a share of the $10,000.

It was really that simple.

Actually – we may have made it a little too easy because the contest racked up more than 20,000 entries. And while we’d love to split the cash up with everyone… we ultimately had to draw three names at random and bust down the ten stacks between them.

They played, they won.. and they claimed their cash! This past Saturday at Shabana Motors, our three Grand Prize winners took home their share of Shabana’s 10K Giveaway! Of course the Box Crew was on hand to not only congratulate, but celebrate alongside our lucky winners.

Each of the winners chose a toy car, and at the bottom of the car it showed how much of the $10,000 they’d be taking home. The cash breakdown went as follows:

• One winner received $2,000
• Another winner took home $3,000
• And the luckiest winner of them all got half the pot – that’s right – $5,000 cash
