Rodeo Houston announced there will be 21 days of rodeo action and carnival fun, starting on Monday, March 2, 2026 and concluding on Sunday, March 22, 2026. With the rodeo starting on Monday next year, this will give visitors to NRG Park an extra day to enjoy all the grounds have to offer. 2025’s rodeo ran from March 4 through March 23 for a grand total of 20 days. This is the first 21-day rodeo since 2022.
According to Rodeo Houston’s website, the 21st day will feature a full-length concert on the last Sunday, meaning the rodeo’s Finals will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The entertainer performing on the 21st day will be announced at some point in May, while the full entertainer lineup will be announced in early 2026.
In addition to the rodeo dates, Rodeo Houston announced the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, presented by Cotton Holdings will take place from Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026 through Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.
