No more Mai's? Restaurant engulfed in flames!

Houston firefighters are battling a blaze that has engulfed a popular Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant in Midtown.

Mai’s Restaurant, 3403 Milam, caught fire before 11 a.m. Heavy smoke and flames were still visible from the roof at 11:20 a.m.

The restaurant opened in 1978.
