Britnney Griner Sets WNBA Record For Dunks in 1st Game

Rookie Brittney Griner the 2013 #1 overall draft pick of the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury set a mark by recording two dunks in her debut. The former Nimitz Cougar and Baylor Bear follows Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker as the third person to throw down a slam in a game.

Sadly, the Mercury dropped the game 102-80, to the Chicago Sky and the #2 overall draft Elena Delle Donne.
