Actress, Sanaa Lathan, has a huge list of movie credits like The Wood, The Best Man, Love & Basketball, Brown Sugar, Alien Vs Predator and most recently the #1 movie in the country, The Perfect Guy.

But with all that under her belt she’s jump in the music game and just dropped a single called “Emotional” inspired by the move “The Perfect Guy.”

Why after a successful career in acting and starting to creep into her 40s would the actress start a singing career?
