Juelz Santana has been formally indicted on two counts of weapons charges (possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft) after he was arrested in March for attempting to bring a gun on a plane at Newark Liberty International Airport.
If convicted, Santana, real name LaRon James, faces up to 20 years in prison. State charges for Santana were dropped when Essex County prosecutors said they would defer to federal authorities.
