Once again, Bun B was confirmed to return for the fourth year in a row, and anyone who knows anything about his previous rodeo hosting duties is well aware than he always brings some famous friends along for the ride.

Now, Bun has yet to reveal what artists he’ll be bringing along for the ride. In 2024, he brought Nelly, Eve, The Ying Yang Twins, Too $hort, E-40, Rick Ross and Drake. Not a bad collective at all… but what’s next?
Here’s a list of 12 artists we’d love to see at Bun B’s Birthday Bonanza, taking place on March 7th, 2025 right here in H-Town.
1. Megan Thee Stallion
C’mon now: It only makes sense that Meg graces the rodeo stage The H-Town hottie is fresh off the heels of new music, a tour and tons of exciting visuals – all she needs to do now is grab her hat and boots and meet us at the big show.
2. T.I.
Who do you call when it’s time to get the trap back jumpin’? Tip seems like a perfect fit for a rodeo run with his extensive catalogue, personal relationship with many Texas artists and overall love for Houston.Â
3. LL Cool J
Ladies Love Cool James and H-Town does as well! Bun’s Rodeo lineups have consistently featured some of hip-hop’s biggest legends and when it comes to skills, hits and longevity its doesn’t get much bigger that Uncle L.
4. Outkast
We know: The group known as Outkast is all but done in 2025.. but hear us out. If there’s ANYONE on earth who could get 3 Stacks to put the flute down for a couple hours and join Big Boi here in H-Town to do a few classics it’s Bun B.Â
5. GloRilla
Yeah Glo! She may be one of the newest big rap acts on the scene, but in just a few short years GloRilla has become not only a fan favorite but gets much love from the legends as well. We could def see her adding some young energy to the show.Â
6. 2 Chainz
The Hair Weave Killa has yet to grace the rodeo stage with Bun, but that has to be just a phone call away.Â
7. Bone Thugs N Harmony
Continuing the legacy of iconic groups to join Bun’s rodeo lineup, Bone would be a great addition to a celebrated tradition of acts that include 3-6 Mafia and The Ying Yang Twins. With classics like “Crossroads,” “1st of tha Month,” and “For The Love of Money,” the Cleveland crew can definitely hold their own in front of a Texas-sized audience.
8. Boosie
Badazz is damn near an honorary Houstonian at this point and having him turn the rodeo crowd up to “Wipe Me Down” should definitely be on Bun’s Bonanza Bucket List.
9. Busta Rhymes
At 52 years old, Busta Rhymes still puts on one of the best hip-hop stage performances in the game. Rodeo is a big party and having Busta (alongside his fame hypeman, Spliff Starr) open up the show would be the perfect way to get this party started right.
10. Missy Elliott
..Speaking of high energy, Missy Elliott’s 2024 concert was without a doubt one of the more electrifying tours of the previous year. Even though she wouldn’t have Ciara with her this go ’round, Missy’s got enough hits to hold it down all on her own.
11. Ludacris
Luda is more film star than rap performer nowadays, but those who know his music are well aware that at one point, Ludacris was THE go to guy for those club and party anthems.Â
12. Jeezy
The hood representative is always right at home in The H, the rodeo stage is the perfect platform for Snow to run through his classics from back in the day.
13. Bonus: Mista Madd (The Madd Hatta)
The Houston radio legend was a rapper once upon a time.. and technically he does have a classic H-Town record (Down South feat. Yungstar & Slim Thug), so for old time’s sake Bun, let Mista Madd hit the stage and give the people what they want.Â
