One of our fave dynamic duos is officially back in action – Ty Hunter is rejoining Beyoncé’s styling team for her “Cowboy Carter” tour, and honestly, it feels like everything is right with the world again. At least for a moment.
If you know fashion and you know Beyoncé, then you know Ty. He’s been a ride-or-die on her style journey for years. Ty is the force behind some of her most iconic looks – from the Met Gala slayage to those effortlessly fly music video moments.
Ty Hunter Is Rejoining Beyoncé’s Style Team
So, naturally, the BeyHive went off when Ty’s news dropped. Mama Tina Knowles announced the Texas-based stylist’s return on April 14. She shared a throwback video of Ty helping Beyoncé get ready for the 2006 MTV Awards.
In the caption, she called Ty her “bonus son” and revealed he’s officially back with the team.“So happy to have my bonus son @tytryone working with us on the tour after all of these years,” she wrote. “We added him to the team a month ago! We are so blessed to have a talented team of Super Star Stylists!!!!!!!”
It’s all giving full-circle moment.
Ty started working with the Knowles crew in the early 2000s. Early on Tina tapped him for Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor” video. For the empowering song, Ty took camo to a whole other level turning it into a high-fashion flex that still lives on today.
Another standout video look was Bey’s casual slay for “Crazy in Love.” Ty told Teen Vogue, this was one of his favorite looks on Bey. From the white tank and denim shorts to her bright red heels, the look was lowkey but easily emulated. Fans ate it up.
And don’t even get us started on Beyonce’s Met Gala reign. Ty helped mastermind that jaw-dropping, sheer Givenchy gown from 2015 – the one that gave Diana Ross glam and had everybody clutching their pearls.
But beyond the red carpets and videos, Ty’s relationship with Beyoncé goes deeper than fashion. He’s often said that Bey isn’t just a client—she’s family. Back in 2015, he told Allure, “We’re like brother and sister. I have nothing to prove; we’re family. And at the end of the day, I just want her to be happy.”

Ty Hunter And Beyoncé Are A Match Made In Fashion Heaven
Now with “Cowboy Carter” on the horizon, we already know the fashion is about to be next level. With Ty in the mix alongside Shiona Turini and Karen Langley, expect a country-meets-couture wardrobe that honors Beyoncé’s Texas roots. Think denim, fringe, rhinestones, and probably a few custom surprises that’ll have the girls gagged.
So dust off your boots, grab that fringe jacket, and get in formation. With Ty back on the styling team, Beyoncé is not coming to play with these looks. And neither should you.
